Hi, I haven't started a costume, and am wondering on the 501st's opinion on which trooper buckets have the best visibility from inside the helmet. Obviously an imperial officer would provide the best visibility, but I'm wondering if there's a general consensus on which helmet it is.
Thanks, I'm new. :newbie:

I can't speak from experience but I hear scouts are better than TK's.

I am so all over the place that I sometimes confuse myself, let alone everyone else.

Trying to do the right thing, always.

I've worn a Stormtrooper, Biker Scout, and Jango Fett. It's been a while since I wore Jango but I think the Scout has the best visibility of the three. I would say that Fett / Mandalorian helmets are a close second.

I can't say about cost for a Biker Scout but I know that Fett armor is one of the more expensive ones.

Thanks for the fast replies! I'm thinking of making biker scout armor, but after shopping online I'm a bit overwhelmed by the selection and prices. Also, as a side note, I think kids would love seeing Clones at events. So I'm still deciding.

Tie pilots aren't bad, AT-ST driver helmets are open in the front as well as General Veers AT-AT commander.

Hmm, as far as visibility goes Scouts do pretty well. But really don't forget to consider Snowtroopers. They're very cool. :snowtrooper:

From experience a Royal Guard can be a royal chalenge as the visibility isn't extraordinary and you can never turn just your head. Just saying.

Visibility!? Who cares!? What's the coolest looking? Which did you love most growing up?

haha... Just kidding. But my main costume has contact lenses, my Snowie has decent vision for small eyes, and my pilot has an open face so that's kinda nice. The worst vision problems I have are with Threepio, but I don't even care cuz it's SO fun to wear.

In my experience scouts do have some of (if not the) best visibility, and are more flexible.(shameless plug for scouts 8) ) but at the same time aren't as recognizable as say a clone or a storm trooper. I can't vouch for any other cotumes visibility since most people helmets are huge on me  Honestly it comes down to what you're willing to put up with while trooping. ^^

Hmm-Hmm...I would just like to say, It aint the Tusken!!!

Why did the Tusken cross the road? Cause all the other Tuskens did it and hey, if they jumped off a cliff, yes, so would I!

I like my shadow scout it has pretty good visibility, my custom mando also has pretty good visibility too, so if you were to go jango or Boba I'd imagine you'd have similar visibility to that.
