Greetings Everybody,

I've always been a fan of the writings of C.S. Lewis and his Chronicles of Narnia books. I've read several of them to my daughter. I was disappointed when I heard that Disney was dropping production of "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" due to "budgetary" reasons. I really liked "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" and I thought "Prince Caspian" wasn't bad. Disney, however, thought Prince Caspian really was bad as it only brought in $419 million domestically and cost around $200 million to make. Yes, "Prince Caspian" wasn't as good as the first, but I think the marketing and release strategy were more to blame for the lackluster box office receipts.

I was encouraged when I heard that 20th Century Fox agreed to partner with Walden Media and continue production of the third Narnia movie. The official trailer was released just today and, from the trailer, it looks like they will have another great film. "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" will be released in theaters this December.

I was just reading portions of this book earlier this week. Good to see that they are moving forward with the film.

I've had all the books for years, I'm looking forward to the movie.

We will fight on the beaches, we will fight on the landing grounds, we will fight in the streets and in the fields. We will never surrender. Winston Churchill
