Well guys I read through the thread also and I am impressed and honored to associate with you, I cannot claim to have served with the US forces. My TOD was with the Royal Air Force flying antisubmarine aircraft over the North Atlantic during the Cold War.

I joined the Air Force Reserves in Apr. 1979, met my husband in Basic training (he was going to Tech school) Married in Aug 1979, Traveled all over the US and the World. Our last Station was at Malmstrom. I got out of the AF in 85. My husband went overseas and had an affair with a younger woman, and left once he came back. He retired, we sold the house, I moved to Logan and I get 1/2 of his retirement since we were married for 21 1/2 years and he was in the service for 23 years.
