I am going on a Disney cruise in a few weeks, and they are hosting a Halloween costume contest on board the ship. I wanted to take my Grim Reaper costume, but am not sure how to pack it. This mask is very similar to the one I will be taking, it is a full head mask. Any thoughts on how to get it there?

Get a foam head or something to mount the mask on so it can't deform as much, ideally you want to hold it's shape much as possible for the trip. Hard cases as well are good to keep it stored in as it won't be compressed as much. If you wrap the foam head to increase it's size don't overstuff it and make sure to place something around it as well to keep it from getting tossed around.

You want to make sure the head is covered in something that will prevent the head from hitting the side walls or you might lose the paint and cracks in paint are awful.
I travel with armor on a regular basis, and trust me, it's not for the faint of heart. Now, the good thing is that for a cruise, you can actually "carry on" whatever you want. So, doing everything mentioned above and maybe carrying it in your bucket bag, or a motorcycle helmet bag would be good! And, PLEASE post pics!!! LOL
