Hi! I've been a Star Wars fan since my mother DRAGGED me to Star Wars at the tender age of 9. Where I sat pouting with my hands over my eyes...until Vader walked in; after that I was hooked! Since then my love for Star Wars has only grown. I am a small collector of the books (ab. 110 right now.) My mom and I went to our first Celebration last year (CVI) and vowed that we would be in the 501st picture at the next Celebration. (Geek Moment: While there I got 6 books signed by: Aaron Allston, Troy Denning, and The-One-And-Only Timothy Zahn!) :D

I currently split my time between Dallas, Texas and Rexburg, Idaho.
So technically I am not in the Alpine Garrison but I have family in northern Utah and spend around 10 weekends in the area a year.
When I'm in Rexburg I am willing to travel to events and Armor Parties (once I get my armor).

I am looking to build a stormtrooper and my mom is looking for scout armor (though she is permanently in Texas).
Any help in finding armor would be AMAZING! :)

Welcome. *Technically* for the time you spend in Idaho you'd be in Timberline Garrison's yard but we're happy to help. I'd suggest getting in touch with tk4837 as she's our only current female TK. Depending on your body type / weight / size, etc. you have a few options when it comes to TK armor.

I'd also suggest getting in touch with the Timberline folks just to cover your bases.

Welcome!! I remember you from the Star Wars Reads day at B&N in Layton

These blast points — too accurate for sandpeople. Only imperial stormtroopers are so precise

If you're up in Rexburg you'll want to hit us up on the Timberline Garrison; we cover Idaho and Montana. http://www.idaho501st.com/boards is where you'll find our message boards. Are you at school there? We have a number of events coming up in the next few months, including one in Rexburg, and it would be great if you came out and joined us :)

Just registered over there! Thanks.

I am currently attending BYU-Idaho and will be here until mid-December. Then its back to Texas until April. But I would love to get involved, be a spotter or something, and watch y'all in action!
