In answer to a growing number of questions (and hopefully to thwart off a hundred more) here is the update on what I've been doing for the past year...

The build: "Biker" Scout Trooper.

Progress: 93.75%

Breakdown:
Soft parts: Jumpsuit, cumberbun and pouches curtesy of Handy. Added a pair of new gloves, and balaclave. Status: DONE! (Updated neck seal)
Boots: Self made via a crafty little tutorial on BSN. Personally, I don't like them so I will be redoing but for now, DONE! (upgraded to Marine Vinyl. Much better!)
Armour: MC scratch build, trimmed and strapped. Will be converting velcro to snaps at a later date, but for now, DONE!
Helmet: KS kit. Been working for a couple months on and off. It's nearly complete. Need to secure lens and work adjust straps.

Still need: Blaster! I have my eye on a Sci-Fire but can't afford it just yet... (anybody happen to want to trade a scout blaster for a 12 pack of soda?)

Aside from that, looking to "weather" the armour a bit more. Can't abide by a shiney white Scout! See the progress below and please offer any suggestions, observations and comments. Thanks!

Excellent work, it looks great. Can't wait to see you trooping your scout.

In the words of Montgomery Burns: "Excellent!"

The role of "spotter" is pretty ingrained in you. I wonder if you'll revert back to it when you have the armor on. hehe.
I look forward to seeing the little "501st" tag on your profile.

The only things missing are the ones you listed already, blaster & dirt!
It will be nice to have more white armor! Its been to long in the works.

You look so sharp Masterson!!! The Scout fits you really, really well.
If you're looking for a Scout blaster Doug (jedi5150) is currently working on a kit and it is going to be super sweet :D

Ondiv!! Thanks, and yes. I know he doesn't check the boards much so I would be much obliged if you would forward my interest. I've seen his work and talked to him about a good blaster kit before. Honestly, if its got his name on it he can put me down for one sight-unseen! We've got a renewed interest in scouts down here so there may be more who need good blasters. Any idea when they'll be ready?

Doug, I have a tutorial for a scout blaster if you want it.
