I have the Shepperton Design Studios Stormtrooper outfit. As far as I know this is the most accurate and is personally reviewed by Andrew Ainsworth.
All parts are made from the original moulds including the E-11 blaster.

The only problem with SDS is that since the LFL lawsuit, it's my understanding it can no longer be sold in the US.

So I finally have funds set aside to start the purchasing of my TK Armor. I am so nervous, though, about buying the right kind. I have looked at all the options out there, going to whitearmor.net, searching the boards, and google to try to find the right info on what to get. I even asked around those in the Garrison for their opinion. So here's my question now:

I am leaning towards an AP armor set. Easier to assemble, pretty accurate, great looking. But the bucket seems a little iffy. What is the best bucket to get and what kinds of modification would need to be done if I were to go with an AP bucket?

You definitely don't want AP armor as it won't fit your body type, you want NE or ATA armor. Read this thread for all of the details you need about the different types of armor: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/

Hi! Any suggestions for slightly shorter stormtroopers of the female persuasion? I've heard that there are MANY mods required for us such as cutting the ab plates, etc....

Thank you!!!!!!

How tall are you? ATA or AP would probably work just great and be less expensive than other options. As far as cutting the AB plate, I assume you are referring to cutting the cod piece off of the AB, which is not recommended unless you absolutely have to.

Read the first post to get an idea. AP is considered to be more movie accurate, but it is also more expensive, and it fits best on slightly shorter and more slender body types. I think about 5'9" and 175 lbs is close to pushing the limit of not needing to do much modification. Granted, I'm just making a rough estimate but mine never really did fit me all that well and I'm 5'11 and weigh about 180 lbs.

I would send a pm to tk8437 if you want a female perspective of TK armor.

Ok, so I'm looking at the whitearmor feed on armor. I still don't know what's best for me. I'm new to this. I am 5'5" and about 200 lbs. Suggestions on armor?

Side note: I just purchased my boots from Trooper Supplies and should be getting them this Wednesday. :D
