I've got boots and gloves from Imperial Boots, and the flightsuit from Cosplaysky. My question about the flightsuit is that it seems that the waistline is too high up. Is this the product of ordering in a female size? About where should the waistline sit? Navel? Below the navel? Also, is it going to be a problem that the gloves go past my mid-forearm? I'm very small, so the flared part is at the standard 6".

I believe that my waistline sits at my bellybutton as well, it seems really high but that's how it is.

That's where mine sits, and it should look fine once you have the belt on. It just feels high compared to the waist of pants today.

My gloves extend pretty high and my waist sits about the same spot as well. Looks all good to me!

As per the CRL photos, it seems like the gloves are a bit long by going over the compad, but the uniform looks good.

*Edit* On second glance, those gloves look almost like they belong to a Vader. Where did you get them? *Edit*

The gloves are the Pilot/Gunner gloves from Imperialboots. I am very small (5'3"), so they look oversized on me. Is there a specified length for the flared parts, or are they just supposed to reach a certain point on your arm?

Per the CRL:

Gauntlets slightly flair-out, upward from the wrist to the mid-forearm.

They are just supposed to reach a certain point. You have to still be able to utilize the commpad, and the distance will vary based on individual size.

That being said, this requirement is listed a Level 3, so you may be able to get away with it the way it is.

Update!

Hat, belt, and compad arrived.

Belt still needs adjustments, though I have a few ideas. It was a 60" belt, and I have a 28" waist, so it wrapped around me twice. I cut it down a lot, and I'm going to try to mitigate some of the bulkiness in the front that makes it list to the side. Velcro for days.

The compad window on my flightsuit needs adjusting as well. Wee bit small.

Getting closer.

Thanks! I put a lot of effort into those socks. I took a trip into the belly of the Rancor, otherwise known as the Orem Walmart.
