TX designation here I come! Just beginning a thread as this will take some work, but I'm completely psyched to get on this.

Here we are getting the shoulder harness dialed in. It's going to be tricky because it will have to actually function by supporting the grenade belt when I go for the specialist detachment.

Here it seems to be fitting well!

It's tricky, it moves differently than other armor I've made or worked on.

Sintra for the win yet again.
I was at a loss on how to attach the thermal det since you can't attach it to a belt like a TK.
Well I made a small cradle that worked like a charm, then saw a pic of the screen accurate method... I impressed myself a little.

First full test fitting. Just need to attach the thigh and shin greeblies.
Had to cut a bit off from the gaunts and thighs to ensure a proper fit.

Priming (and a whole lotta sanding) has commenced!

The belt is pretty much done too.

My method for the bell-to-bicep connection. Two snaps and a Velcro safety net.

For the gauntlet rockets, I didn't like the ones that came in Jim's kit, (plus one broke when dropped from 5" high), so I found a guy who mills them from aluminum.
The metal ones are slightly longer than screen accurate rockets, but I'm going to try for approval with them first as they look sooooo good.

Now we're all shiny, glossy black.
On to polishing and finishing!

Getting fairly close to the gleaming, mirrored finish I'm after.
Using the Anovos bucket as my poster child, almost there!
