Well as promised here are some pictures. I'm not planning on posting many more pictures on this site as I'm going to do a build thread on FISD and just post the link here and email it to trigger. But before that starts.....YAY I HAVE MY ARMOR!

This is how I unpacked the entire box, I didnt order the kit trimmed it just must be how AM sells their kits. I noticed Lovemonkeys ears were trimmed as well in his build thread.

My AM kit arrived yesterday as well, haven't officially announced it yet nor have I started my build thread on whitearmor being I'm not sure when my time will allow me to start but the anticipation is killing me. I had and sold an Anovos kit awhile back due to the fact I'm what I like to call " a husky trooper". I will be definitely be following your build thread closely to hopefully aid in mine. Your bucket seems to fit together a lot better than mine too and one of the egdes of my kidney plate it very thin (wondering if yours is too).

Nice, welcome to the club! I'll do my best with helping and try to answer any questions. LoveMonkey has an am kit too so it was nice to talk with him a little bit at the garrison party not too long ago.

My kidney seems pretty consistent in thickness from what I could tell looking at it after you asked. I don't see it being an issue though this armor is pretty resilient. Just don't be scared to make that first cut, even if it's just to remove the return edge on the wrist side of the forearms after that it's easy.

Bucket I just held together with magnets to take the picture because we'll I had too haha. I've since already glued the cap and back together and cut out the teeth so maybe I'll actually put it together tomorrow but we'll see then it's hand painting :)

Here are some of the links that I've been using and watching as well to help do my build

these 2 youtube links both have build threads. the first one is a full kit start to finish. he does have some helpful tricks that i've already applied with my armor
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeDunM ... n8_ns-ma4g

https://www.youtube.com/user/TK4510DECALS

although hes a sandtooper the armor is the same, heres lovemonkeys build thread :)
http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/3 ... ld-thread/

this helped alot when I first started researching, the supply lists
http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/3 ... -tk-build/

the AM kit bible, navajo bros build
http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/3 ... unt-build/

no post with links to AM stuff would be complete without this link. the correct way to assemble the shins

quick update for everyone. I have my forearms trimmed and the cover strips are glued on. just waiting for each half to dry so I can join them together. Bucket is assembled and I've already started hand painting it. just letting everything dry now I'll work on more tomorrow.

Have you got the snaps and straps yet ? Joanne's.. Make sure you go to their website and print off coupons to save you some $$

Good call, Fortytwo. You can get these same coupons on your phone and they can scan them at the register. Saves you printing time and paper and ink. Search JoAnne's Coupon and scroll down to what is available. Many times there is more than one that you can use. Most cashiers are well aware of what is available at any given time.

single black stripe on the 3 bump back. As you all can see I've gotten the black outlined this morning. Need to do a couple clean up spots but the bucket is getting close to being done.
