Finally getting started on my animated clone season 4-6 :clone-blue: and it's Commander Wolffe no less!!!

So to start what I have so far is my armor kit, ordered from Imperial Surplus (KW designs):
Hoping to make some progress this weekend, we'll see how it goes!

EDIT:

For those in a similar situation just for a reference of spacing for the armor and attachment points I am 5'9" and 205 lbs. Hopefully this will give you a better idea of what you might need.

Got the helmet sanded down and ready to install the magnets, the helmet uses a "back out" system that. Hoping to get that done this weekend.

Just have to get the visor slot cut out as well and it'll be ready for paint

So in my gusto to get the helmet finished I may have messed up in a couple of small places, the helmet fits together, but I'm getting a bit of a seam gap from the back, it's only noticeable in a couple of spots however. Any recommendation on how to get rid of those? So far the only solutions I've come up with are to either grind down the other spots in the helmet to match the new lines. which is risky. Or to attempt to patch it in and paint it to color and hope that wherever I spot fill in holds. Or lastly run a mesh or some spare ABS strips along the inside of the seam and hope it can be covered in paint. Any recommendations?

Made a little progress on the holster boxes.

didn't take too many pictures unfortunately.

After cutting out the profile out I cut a few scraps of the ABS that were included to create a lip I could use to attach and line up the to halves.
For glue what I did was take a few scraps of ABS plastic (scraps left over from trimming) and dissolved them in acetone. This creates a kind of ABS sludge that makes gluing the two halves together much easier.

You can kind of see the glue seams, which will need to be sanded down, but beyond that they're ready to be attached to the metal braces that came with the kit.

*Note: I'll be sure to take pictures in a better light situation next time!

Progress is awesome! You might also consider E6000, I've loved using it.

What's really funny is I just read on the clone trooper detachment a few people who did that so I got a tube to see how well it works.

The only downside to E6000 is that for it to really cure it needs about 24 hours. Other than that it is easy to work, easy to take apart should you need to make changes, and really strong.

Alright! I'm excited to see how it works!

Got the forearms trimmed to shape, and got it all fitted to me.
The bicep piece is a tad large but I'll solve that problem when I get a little further along.
The trim lines on the inside of the armor pieces are a HUGE help. Just marked them in with a pencil so I could bring the dremel right up to the line which helped.

Unfortunately progress is slow just because I'm a lazy ass. But I've been finding the motivation to get out and work on it more so I should be progressing along at a more consistent rate.
