Okay, this works a lot like Name That Movie. Somebody posts a line from a song, and the next person has to name the song AND the band who performed it. Here's one to get us started:

"People act so proper when they go about their business, cup of coffee, friendly conversation, 'til they get home, 'til they get home..."

- "It's just a job" - Zam Wesell :zam:
- Asajj - The Whitest Black Chick You've Ever Seen!
- Does this AT-ST Driver Helmet make me look fat? Or my head look tiny?
- "He who is tired of Weird Al is tired of life." - Homer Simpson

how about a hint on this..is this a song, that most of us, "Older folks," are going to know, or is it one that your age group listens to?
But I like this idea, I had actually thought about doing the same thing, but never got around to it.

So give us a hint ok..Thanks.

Oh, yes, certainly! Ok, this one is harder than I realized it would be.

Hint: This song came out in the 80's.

That probably won't be enough, so...

Hint: It is a slightly obscure song from the very original band whose lead singer became a very prestigious movie (and some television) music composer.

Does that spark anything? I'll check back with you in about a week if it doesn't.

Nasty Habits by Oingo Boingo

This one should be pretty easy:
"Do you believe in rock ’n roll,
Can music save your mortal soul,
And can you teach me how to dance real slow?"

Kiss - Detroit Rock City

This one may be way too obscure, but here it goes

"I'm trying not to try too hard
But you're hard to write down right
So I pen these tried attempts
At haikus for you tonight "

Because I care about the innocent victims of my ill-advised dance of joy.

I've got to ask, Kirk, did you know it was Tally hall, or did you look it up?
