Brandy by Looking Glass

'Like all the locals here I've had to sell my home
Too proud to leave I worked my fingers to the bone'

I love that song, but I had to look up how to spell it.

The Downeaster Alexa - Billy Joel

"There are places I'll remember all my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better. Some have gone and some remain"

I actually have a vinyl record that has that song being "There are Places I Remember" but then again, on a CD collection that I've seen, it has said "In My Life". Eh, oh well. Its the Beatles.

I'm going to say "Walking in Memphis" by Lonestar, although there are several versions out there by other artists (I think even Cher did one...ugh).

One Day I'll Fly Away - Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge)

"Our evening began in Peter Sachell's comfortable study in his New York townhouse, where the candlelight was just right, the hi-fi was in the background, and the wine was delicious."

The Beastie Boys

I had to look for a bit to find that one.

Here's one that my dad used to sing to me when I was sick. I don't know why it always made me feel better but it did. This song is a bit older.

He battled for Red Nellie's honor,
he cleaned out a hold up's nest.
He died with two six guns a smokin'
but only two hairs on his chest.

Hush little baby dont say a word, and never mind that noise you heard....

"Sand people always travel single file to hide their numbers" It's not to hide our numbers, it's so we can follow the guy in front of us! If he trips, we have time to stop.
