I have heard a rumor that these Forum's are no longer to be used for the Garrison business?? If that is true, what is Command using to keep all of us informed?? Why hasn't there been a post letting us know in the Garrison about the change??

They are using Facebook

These blast points — too accurate for sandpeople. Only imperial stormtroopers are so precise

It's a secret group, which means you have to be invited. Clinking on any link from it or attempting to search for it will yield with no results. Hopefully one of the GCoGs will be able to add you like they did for me.

This was just posted in the Comlink so I figured I'd share here for those asking:

Quote:
While we work on a new website, we recognize that some of our members are not on Comlink. To help address this, our friends at The Special Operations Detachment (http://www.501stspecopsdet.net) have created a section for us to use while we find a new home. We will be able to list events and post official garrison announcements. A big thank you to Spec Ops for putting this together so quickly for us.

Please Note: This is a 501st website, so you must be a full 501st member to access it. Sorry cadets, but don't worry we will still utilize comlink.

Alpine Legion members will need to sign up at 501stspecopsdet.net and request 501st access. Once approved, the Alpine section can be found at the bottom of the boards. It is password protected.

The password is posted in the comlink. If you don't have access to the comlink contact command for the password. Alternatively, you may email me at izzi@metachron.com or contact me under "izzi" on the Spec Ops message boards and I'll be sure you are taken care of.

If you can't contact the command staff for Comlink access, email me or contact me via the Spec Ops forums and I'll help track down someone who can grant you access.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
