These blast points — too accurate for sandpeople. Only imperial stormtroopers are so precise

Thanks for all the fun George,

We will fight on the beaches, we will fight on the landing grounds, we will fight in the streets and in the fields. We will never surrender. Winston Churchill

It really will be hard to accept that someone who has been an icon to me since I was seven will be fading off into the night. Every era passes, but George seemed forever. :tusken: :( :tusken:

Why did the Tusken cross the road? Cause all the other Tuskens did it and hey, if they jumped off a cliff, yes, so would I!

Creative people never actually retire. It isn't possible.

I hope he's just in a bad mood and it's not the end.

Very true. We haven't heard the last of this Great Bird of the Galaxy!
(though he certifiably has more than enough $$ to call it quits)

Even my dad is upset that Mr. Lucas is retiring, especially after seeing Red Tails. I'm interested to hear about the independent films that Lucas wants to be a part of. I wonder if Joe Johnston will be allowed to take the reins of Lucasfilm or if he'll go somewhere else.

I bet fans who want more Star Wars Films will be beating themselves up:

"Why would I make any more when everybody yells at you all the time and says what a terrible person you are?"

Hmmm, now people will complain there won't be more....though they were the same ones getting mad about how he was making his films.

I do totally agree with this comment though.

I find your lack of faith disturbing

Duct Tape...the Force it is like. Both a light side and a dark side it has. Binds the universe together it does!

Meh, Gearge Lucas is easily offended, but he'll soon be back - and in greater numbers.

Has anyone read the prescripts to the next three. They are really good but there are a few changes that need to be made to catch it up to the rest of the universe. Like Chewy is dead. He was killed at the beginning of the Yuuzhong Vong wars ten years before episode 8 is to take place. I just hope they are made I would kill to see them.
