BTW... here's a pic of sonik in the armor he's selling. He's the tall, orange-pauldroned trooper on the right:

NO ONE BUY THIS! Sonik PROMISED me he'd be a 2nd TD in Timberline... got me all excited... trooped once... and now look what he's doing! I'm old, I can't take this kind of emotional roller-coaster! ;) j/k

Great stuff Iz! But I'm confused: Did you invert that image or something? Your helmets are all the wrong color! ;) j/k It should be re-emphasized that all of the above apply to TK/TD as well. All of the makers Izzy mentioned in this post make the helmets in white as well for TK/TD. One note: The eFX...

I would just buy a Hasbro blaster, for about $20 or so and then buy the kit and glue it and paint it! I did that and enjoy it! I also bought an E-11 from Doug, jedi5150, and it is very nice! The toy blaster is fun for the sound, but I like the look and feel of Doug's blaster the best! Awww shucks.....

Yep, done a lot with it. For a brief stint, I was machining and building EL sabers in an attempt to compete with Parksabers.... Anyway, I would highly recommend AGAINST buying the bulk wire. The wires themselves are about the size of a human hair and VERY difficult to solder to (and my degree's in e...

Some of us troop with the toy E-11 blasters painted plack and they look accurate. Not to disagree with Jakob, but I'm going to disagree with Jakob. :P This is actually a pet-peeve of mine. Repainted Hasbros do not look accurate. They're too small, and they're missing the magazine well and magazine,...

Have you checked with Dave (you GML) or the FISD to make sure that the SE pack is approvable? From what I've seen on the FISD boards, looks like everyone is building the more classic-style pack, and the screencaps look a lot more like the classic pack. http://www.whitearmor.net/home/crl-overview/crl...

Oh hey, one tip after looking at the pics again: Get some nice, wide, padded (if possible) straps for it. Those narrow 1" things will KILL your shoulders!

Pics aren't showing for me. They're linked to the 501st forums, which you have to be logged in to in order to view the pics. *EDIT* OK I logged into the 501st forums so I can see the pics. Hmmmm.... it really doesn't look that much narrower than mine. And weight all depends on the materials it's bui...

The HWTs I think are documented as a TD prefix, even though the FISD has them. I don't think the term "Heavy Weapons Trooper" has been added yet to the costume list, or that it's being used properly. i.e. So many costumes are listed as just "Spec Ops" instead of Blackhole troope...

I'm sitting here with my son who's a Revan expert. He's done some custom skins of Revan for a couple of games so he's studied Revan pretty closely. A couple other things we see: The sash "ring" is hanging too low. Your red sash looks like it's hanging from the ring. It should not, it shoul...
