So what is an appropriate size for it? Would it fit me? I'm a pretty generic size for a human being.

Nic, I think it'd fit you GREAT! (But, get it sans-helmet and get the new eFX, an AP, or a CAP-W).

Yep, looks like the MRCE molds to me. They've painted the frown black to match the ESB paint scheme, and the tube stripes are a more-accurate light blue, but other than that, it sure looks like a MRCE to me. It even has the "too-light" green lenses. If it is indeed the same molds as the MR...

Doug you would just have to trim more than most of us.

Eh... there's more to it than that. Even with my FX, it's just scaled too big. the proportions of the chest plate etc are too large for my small frame. No worries, it all works.

Yeah, it's sharp, crisp stuff alright!

I really like AM armor, and like everything they've done with it. It's still too big for guys like me, I'd really like to get AP armor for that reason. But alas, I haven't bought any lottery tickets so I'll have to stick with my FX.

For those of you who are wondering, this is what the Denix Mauser looks like. This is what I'll be casting for the base gun.

Michael's right... it'd take a LOT of work to get that to 501st standards. For starters, the helmet needs to be completely re-worked which entails dremeling out the eye sockets, deepening them with bondo/filler putty, installing new lenses, new grill screen, filing out the "teeth" to have ...

To answer your question, yes Sandtroopers CAN troop with an E-11. The CRL Izzi linked to states that. As on-screen reference, the "Move Along" sandtrooper was carrying an E-11. However, the auction you posted is WAAY too much money for what it is. It's a resin-cast of a converted Hasbro. Y...

OK, I have come up with a permanent solution to the lack-of-mausers problem. I'll be casting a denix replica mauser and providing it with the kit. This will actually result in a more-accurate blaster, as there are some inaccuracies in the airsoft. Initial calculations indicate that the kit will stil...

Man this gets better and better. The two suppliers I found for the metal version want $30.00 shipping for EACH GUN. I'm putting this on hold until I can find a source. If you already have a gun and want the conversion kit, that's no problem. The conversion kit with no gun will be $20.00 Sorry.... -D...

I have one plastic mauser left, so I can bring one full kit to the armor party tomorrow. It will still be at the $30.00 price.

I have bad news and good news. Bad News: I went to order the mausers today, and they're GONE. I can't find them in stock anywhere. However.... Good News: The all-metal version is available. Unfortunately, they're more money. So, I'll need to adjust the price accordingly. The new price, with an ALL M...
